Job Description
As an International Accountant, you will play a crucial role in handling financial matters for international clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Managing International Accounts: Overseeing financial records, transactions, and reporting for clients with a global presence.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and preparing financial reports in accordance with relevant regulations.
Big 4 Experience: Utilizing your experience gained from working in a reputable Big 4 firm to deliver high-quality accounting services to clients.
International Case Management: Dealing with cross-border financial issues and complex international tax matters.
Language Proficiency: Communicating effectively in English and either French or Dutch to cater to the diverse clientele.
Collaboration: Collaborating with a young and dynamic team to foster a positive and innovative work environment.
ITAA Internship Mentorship: Opportunity to have a mentor if you pursues an internship with the Institute of Tax Advisors and Accountants (ITAA).
The Successful Applicant
International Accountant's Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of international accounting principles and practices.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or Dutch.
- ITAA certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
