As one of the European Divisions of the Motion Systems Group, EMPD - is accountable for the manufacturing of electromechanical and pneumatic motors and drives. Electric Motion and Pneumetic Division produces customer specific electromechanical motors and drives for focus applications and market segments with operational locations in Cinisello (Italy), Longvic (France) and Offenburg (Germany).

Position Summary

We are looking for a Location Controller, responsible to manage assets accounting process for the location in compliance with accounting standards.

Manages and leads business according to Win Strategy guidelines.

Ensures compliance to corporate policies in cost allocation process. The position reports to the Division Controller and is based in Cinisello (Italy).

Responsibilities

Checks the monthly preparation of the financial account records, analyzing company results and comparing them to the predetermined goals

Responsible to reporting related to financial results within the location

Ensures accuracy of the provided reports and that they promptly meet the needs for change within division and group

Ensures the existence of proper procedures, policies and checks to guarantee adequate internal governance of the business

Coordinates data analysis to highlight improvement areas and find possible solutions

Supervises costs trend to maintain a regular check

Manages annual process review ensuring accuracy of the provided info

Collaborates with management team to manage processes related to forecasts of future trend and analysis of current trend (with relative deviation from the budget) and in order to plan and check costs to support business choices

Qualifications

Degree in Economics / Accounting or equivalent experience

3/5 year of previous experience in auditing

Excellent knowledge of local legislation on taxation and accounting standards

Good knowledge of Office

Fluent English
